03-10-2011 Travel day back to Shinjuku

This day we travelled back to Shinjuku, so not much pictures.

This was my lunch in the train.

And this was the dinner in Shinjuku.

While walking around I saw this cute maid.

01-11-2011 Kyoto Kiyomizudera temple

This day we went to the Kiyomizudera temple ""Pure Water Temple".
We went early in the morning, so it was very quiet at the temple area, 
this was very relaxing!

 We passed this bridge on the way to the temple.

When we left to go back to the hotel, groups of school children started to arrive!

I think it now was almost 8:00 , so if you really want to be without these kids,

go to the temples before 8:00, make sure you check if the temple is open by that time.

We had dinner at Musashi sushi in Kyoto, kaiten sushi.

My friend told me the adress of this sushi place, 

because we really wanted to go to a Kaiten sushi, 

but we did not know where one was in Kyoto.

 

27-10-2011 travel from Osaka to Kyoto

This day we travelled from Osaka to our hotel in Kyoto.

So only pictures of food and the hotel room this time.

The trip was very smooth.

The lunch we had when we arrived in Kyoto,

in the hotel street there are a lot of restaurants.

The hotel is from the same chain as the one in Shinjuku.

It is super nice.

23-10-2011 Umeda and Shinsaibashi

This day we went to Umeda, Hep 5.
This is a fashion department store with a huge amount of nice fashion stores.

First we stopped for a cup of coffee.

I decided to try the Match Latte, it was super good!

As you can see the weather is very nice in Japan.

Since Halloween is coming soon, you see randomly girls dressed like this.

Back in Shinsaibashi, it was super crowded.

Famous photo shop.

Don't know what he is promoting, but it looks cute!

We tried frozen yoghurt, it was very tasty, but super expensive!!

The Vivienne Westwood store has relocated a bit more to the left in the street.

We had the gyoza and sushi for dinner and I took the dango for dessert.

20-10-2011 Shibuya

This day we went to Shibuya, to visit the store of a friends friend 

and also to meet up with another friend.

We have a bus stop almost right in front of our hotel. 

 

For some days I've been looking for soy milk, but since I cannot read the labels

it is so hard to find, also because when you ask for soy milk, they don't understand

what you want :s So now I have this picture with me on my phone and just show

it at the store so they can point out what they have.

Since they most of the times never carry the same brand at all the different stores.

Again sushi for lunch!

14/15-10-2011 Amsterdam to Tokyo

Here is my first blog entry, after settling for a few days I now feel not so tired,
so I can write in my blog.

14-10 we left from Amsterdam to Tokyo!
The day before when we wanted to check-in online,
we found out my boyfriend was put on stand-by.
So we called KLM and luckily the fixed it.

The trip from Amsterdam to Tokyo was very smooth.

I ordered vegetarian food, because I got sick a few times before from the food.

This was the dinner, it was very good. 

And this was breakfast, I did not like it at all, too spicy.

So I only ate a bit of the rice, the bread and fruit.

When we arrived at Tokyo Narita airport, these guys were waiting for their passengers.

 We took the Airport Limousine Bus to Shinjuku station.

It took about 1 hour and 45 minutes.

I love this drink, it is not as sweet as the ice tea in Holland.

At Shinjuku station we took a local bus to our Apartment.

The apartment is great! Not too small and we have a kitchen!

For dinner we had sushi.

And these are the items I bought that day.

I love Shiseido shampoo!

My boyfriend and I also did purikura!

This same evening we went to a pre-Halloween party at Tokyo Dark Castle.
