02-11-2011 Kobe, Kyoto
This was a quiet day, we went to Kobe to check out
a shopping street that is underneath the train tracks.
But it was nothing special to be honest and very short.
For lunch we made the mistake to eat at a Chinese place,
it was in a good department store, but this food was not good.
The chicken meet was super fatty, not nice.
The broccoli was good though..
For dinner we had Ramen in Kyoto station.
It was super good.
In my fashion blog I am doing a price from Japan give away,
please join if you like!

01-11-2011 Kyoto Kiyomizudera temple
This day we went to the Kiyomizudera temple ""Pure Water Temple".
We went early in the morning, so it was very quiet at the temple area,
this was very relaxing!
We went early in the morning, so it was very quiet at the temple area,
this was very relaxing!
We passed this bridge on the way to the temple.
Quiet street leading to the temple.
The famous water spot.
Me getting some water.
When we left to go back to the hotel, groups of school children started to arrive!
I think it now was almost 8:00 , so if you really want to be without these kids,
go to the temples before 8:00, make sure you check if the temple is open by that time.
Empty side street.
School buses and children.
We had dinner at Musashi sushi in Kyoto, kaiten sushi.
My friend told me the adress of this sushi place,
because we really wanted to go to a Kaiten sushi,
but we did not know where one was in Kyoto.

31-10-2011 Kinkaku-ji Golden temple
This day we went in Kyoto to the Kinkaku-ji Golden temple.
It looks gorgeous! Could look at this scenery all day!
The Maple leafs already started to fall down, so cute.
Later we took a bus back to our hotel.
It can be a bit confusing to take the bus in Japan,
because not all bus stops show English time tables,
so you have no idea what bus will come.
Some girls in Kimono were in the bus.
Across the street of our hotel we had lunch, it was so good!!
I had sushi and tempura and Hennie had Gyoza and grilled and fried chicken.

30-10-2011 Gion Corner
This day was my birthday and because of that we decided
to go to Gion Corner in the evening to see a show.
It was raining all day so that was a bit sad.
At the temple we met these girls, so pretty!
The buddha inside the temple.
So at the start of the show at Gion corner they asked if two persons wanted
to participate in the tea ceremony, I got picked and a lady from France was picked.
The little rice cake was sweet and the tea a bit bitter, very nice together.
This was the Gagaku court music dance performance.
Kyogen theatre play.
Maiko dance.
I really enjoyed the whole show.
Here is a video of some parts of the show.
Here are some pictures of the dark wet street in Gion.
Hennie..
When we got back at our hotel, this nice birthday card and candy was waiting for me.
When we were in Kyoto I got these Matcha (green tea) products.
Powder to make drinks, like Matcha latte!
Candy and Mochi.
